749R Tank Breather kits

The 749R tank differs from the road unit by being larger and being threaded to accept a tank breather. 


The breather kit came with the Corse kit and was available only for a very limited period. I have been asked many times if I knew where to find these breathers, but, no. These parts are possibly more difficult to find than RS cams! 


So, at the end of last year, I found a company in Europe with stock, so at the insistence of a buddy, I bought all they had.


When my bikes were stolen, some very good friends in the Ducati community spent a lot of time getting the word out. They didn't know that I had even more serious issues to deal with at home, but pulled all the stops out to help me. I was able to thank them for their help with a couple of breather kits. Sharpy has one fitted to his 749R.

Since December, I have bought valves, tube and bottles and have now got a few kits left as fitted to my 749R and RS.
